The following page in the Member Centre will show you what yours is.

Member Centre Data Transfer Speed

It used to be a link in Member Centre, but they took it away, it's squirreled away now in the support pages somewhere.

I upgraded from adsl to fibre ( 40/2) on 5th Jan using Hub One.

Router settings and all speedtests have been as I expected.

36.1 Mbps Down and 1.85 Mbps Up TBB using wi-fi

40/2 are pretty very poor for superfast fibre. Plusnet should have 40/10 and 80/20. Why cowboy copy from talktalk 40/2 the lower budget!

This is just to push folks onto the more expensive package, just the same as bT puch folks onto anytime calls via expensive call and call connection charges. 2Mbps upload a waste of money if you already have a decent ADSL2+ speed - Changed yout view of Plusnet again Max ?

I don't think so, as if the Impacted estimate is below 40Mbps they won't let you have 80/20 anyway. So the percentage they could upgrade to 80/20 from 40/2 is quite low, and I think the main upgrade driver is the downstream anyway.

Only those who opt for 40/2 not realising it isn't 40/10 and who are moving to FTTC specifically for fast upload would be interested. Or leaving to a 40/10.

What it does open up of course is the new 55/10 Openreach product which became available to order (from OR) today. That would fit with your theory. It isn't yet in Plusnet's price list.

Plusnet will not addition 55/10 they aren't interesting! Only stick with current three products 17/1 ADSL2+ 38/2 Value Fibre and 76/20 superfast fibre

Would you take a bet on that max? Say £5000 that they don't have 55/10 within 18 months?

As most of my usage is streaming demand services, with very little uploading, I'm more than happy with package I purchased.

Had the price been higher, to give increased speeds, I wouldn't have bothered even though I could easily afford to pay more.
