Fwiw, I know a couple of people on Now Broadband who are both happy with it. Don't think they've needed to call customer services, so can't comment on that. Speed/reliability seems good from what they've told me though.

I doubt there is much difference between different providers these days, certainly on FTTC. Thanks anyway

Just be careful I suspect Plusnet will be cease company soon. They will move everyones to EE or BT soon. Plusnet are downgraded everything now getting less and less and less. No more plusnet TV, No more John Lewis broadband, no more Plusnet Business Broadband and now no more plusnet mobile. Lastly soon to be no more plusnet broadband.

I think Plusnet will be just a basic broadband provider, which to be honest is fine for me, I have said it before, and I will say it again, all I need is a connection to the net and that is it., I don't want fancy add-ons. Even if Plusnet do change to EE in mid -contract they are not going to change anything. If they put the price up then people will be able to move for free as it will not be the same as the increases due to inflation. The contract will still be the same, if they change it then again people will be free to move providers. I know of somone who was with AOL when Talk Talk took them over, nothing changed until the end of their contract and if they recontracted it would be under Talk Talk terms, they did not recontract.

Plusnet 24 months contract is a hell nightmare for new customers on FTTC now. 18 months contract will push higher price on FTTC.

Not a great Plusnet anymore.
