Spam King could get 40 years

A Las Vegas man accused of sending more than 27 million spam messages to Facebook users faces federal fraud and computer tampering charges that could send him to prison for more than 40 years, according to a grand jury indictment.

Reading Wallace's wiki, it seems he just refuses to stop breaking the law. He's been at it since '97 (aged 31) and at 43, a forty year sentence would be quite a scary prospect.

Would be much easier to just impose a ban on him having an internet connection? Ideally, many years ago!

Just reading the wiki page, it is indeed idiotic how they have let him cause so much trouble/damage. Honestly, it wouldn't be difficult for authorities to stop ISPs supplying him with an internet connection. Sheer nonsense!
