Have been using Kaspersky IS contentedly for the past few years on both desktop and wife's laptop.
Desktop OK. When we do a full scan on the laptop (approx weekly at present) it comes up with a Trojan warning. We're quite happy that KIS kicks it into touch, but then, after a while, the same thing turns up again, e.g. today, with a seven hour gap between. It's been going on like this for several weeks now, although sometimes we can go for several days without it appearing.
My wife has many, many contacts through her interest in family history, and we assume that it has come through one of them? Although, as I wrote, KIS is doing the business, we'd like to know where it originated and more importantly, how to kill it once and for all.
The KIS detailed report shows 'Detected: HEUR.Trojan.Script .Iframer' in the Result column, and the Object is described as being in one of the Temporary Internet Files.
I'd appreciate your comments/suggestions as to how to get rid of this irritation.
