Sunbelt Personal Firewall

[link to this post]

Stay clear. It doesn't fully uninstall. The trail period expired, and reverted to the "free" version. This resulted in a nag screen at switch on and, every couple of hours or so. I got fed up with this and tried to uninstall, using Revo Uninstaller. All went well, and as far as I was concerned the program was gone, along with all registry entries as found by Revo.

A couple of days later I decided to purchase the SPF and tried to reinstall to allow me to do so. The program won't install, giving me a "already installed" error box.

I found a lot of entries still in the registry, using regedit. However as I'm not competant with registry entries I decided to leave things alone. In view of this behaviour I won't be using this product. However I would like to know how to fully remove it.

To uninstall it fully, use this program : http://www.sunbelt-software.com/ihs/SPFClean.exe

This will remove all but a few registry entries, registry entries which may be left
