Free Comodo slows down computer

I stuck the Free version of Comodo on my laptop a few weeks back, well a couple of days ago the machine slowed down, in fact it would not do anything and the only way I could get it to work was to go into safe mode and uninstall comodo. I had the same problem on my desktop computer a couple of months back and had to remove it then, both machines was running Windows 7 32bit.

I thought maybe it was a compatibility problem., but yesterday my brother had the same problem and I put it down to comodo and told how to uninstall it and his computer is now back to working and her have Windows XP running.


so have anyone else had this problem and is it a problem with Comodo?

Add another to the list.
When I tried it - several months ago now - major slowdown on PC.
Doesn't look like it's changed.

not only does it slow things down but it breaks windows update amongst other things.

comodo one of those security apps that does too much to the computer.

slowed my wifes new laptop down so much it was unusable. Yet seemed ok on my PC. Personally find Comodo not that good, unless you have all the bells and whistles on. then it is fine, but you'll get fed up with it questioning every process.
