Hotmail problem

Don't know if this is the right place or not,
This morning I tried getting my emails and I get a message "Web site blocked by NETGEAR Firewall"
This is the first time I have had such a message and wondered if anyone knows how to get back to my emails.
It was fine last night,

modem is Netgear DGN1000 (if it helps)

Someone has been playing with your Netgear router.

Log in to your router (enter 192.168.0.1 in your browser address bar and then enter your user name and password, default username = admin, password = password).

Look at the block sites menu for hotmail.

There is only me uses the router, already checked the block sites and nothing there.

How odd. It sounds like the standard "I'm blocking a site" message from a Netgear router. I've no idea what else could be wrong.

How strong is your Hotmail password? With the advent of "cloud cracking", it needs to be very strong. However, this does seem to be locally generated. What does the browser address bar tell you? Resetting the router may be the answer.

SPyware checked , virus checked and nothing. Never seen it before till this morning
Rebooted router and reset to factory settings and still same, getting me mad now.


Sorted.....cleared cache and working fine now

That's one to try and remember!

If memory serves me right, this can happen when a partial DNS server reply is received by the router, it thinks something odd is going on, so gives you a blocked reply.
