It could apply to any antivirus, and a lot of software, but kaspersky is developed by an FSB trained person and is updated as and when the software desires.We'd better remain on reasonable terms with Russia then ..if not, I'll start to look for a different one!
It could easily be re appropriated into a very powerful hacking tool / botnet by the FSB at the drop of a hat, for warfare.
A serious potential national security issue to my mind.
