Browsers Opening Different Pages

I have a strange issue with my windows PC's running the MS Edge browser.

When clicking a url from google search results maybe half of the time a different page is opened rather than the page im expecting. For example to get here I googled thinkbroadband, clicked the link in the results and the page that opened was https://switcheroo.co.uk/broadband/deals/. When you click the link in google for a second time it opens the correct page.

This is happening on 3 computers, 2 are windows machines and 1 is a windows virtual machine running on a mac.

Any thoughts on this?

I tried virus scanning with various different software but nothing is found.

Sounds like it might be an add-in on the browser. I would check and disable any add-ins and see if that fixes it.

Thanks for the suggest Ian, I have removed all add on's and it still seems to be doing it.

I stopped using google as a search engine years ago because of the targeted ads.
https://duckduckgo.com/ is my preferred search engine.

Is happing if you use Firefox?

Have set an Proxy server in Windows?

(Firefox dosn't use Windows setting for Proxy server)

I use https://start.duckduckgo.com which stops it suggesting its add on!

Not on an iPhone. It’s still there at the top.
