IT'S ENOUGH TO SEND U CRAZY!!!!!!!!!

SKY BROADBAND- Thankyou for your patience????!!!!!!
Here's my contribution for what it's worth.
I registered for Sky broadband max ohhhhh somewhere back in August now, i forget it's been so long!...Got my activation date for the 1st of Sept, got an engineer to install the equipment on the 6th of Sept..Hmmmm no internet connection..told to keep ringing and it would be on in the next few days...DAYS??!!!!!!HA!!!
Kept ringing every few days, held in a queue for more than 20 minutes each time, passed from department to department, staff pretending to be interested but acting confused as to why i still have no connection...WEEKS later and still ringing every few days (as told to) told a few times they would ring back, NEVER did they ring back on all the times they said they would...Find out a few weeks later that my account has been cancelled by THEM, they assume i have cancelled it!!! URGH! Fuming by now so lost my telephone manner and demanded to speak to a manager, discovered that the Mac code that AOL (my previous isp) was the wrong one, seems they mistook-misheard a letter EEEE for a number 3, their fault although they blamed AOL for giving me the wrong one...told to ring BT to see if there were any markers on the line, BT said this was Skys job to do. Told to wait 10 days until they could resubmit-re register once the service had been cancelled fully...waited....and rang....and waited and rang...and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaited...yaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwnnnn....as of yet my account is still STUCK? in 'pending cancellation' and sky haven't a damn clue WHY..today it's the 29th of October and i haven't had internet access for over 2 months! RIDICULOUS!!

I'm having the same problems (6 weeks now). Been waiting ten days for a Tier 3 call back (they are busy you know!!!)

Anyway called CS again Saturday to find out what is happening since they are now billing me.... told nothing new added to notes so it is still ongoing, when i asked about Tier 3 call i was told because i keep calling for update this allows them to extend the ticket.

So there you got its my fault that they haven't called.....

Be lucky, just waiting for a MAC code

Seems like they are still having problems with this....

I had a letter from Sky saying that they were unable to process the order as BT had informed them that there were incompatible products on the line.

Then there's a long list of things to check, none of which are relevant...

So, after doing a Prodigy check, a BT Wholesale check, & trying the BT order tracking data, all with no result, I contacted Sky & explained the problem.

A few minutes later the Sky helpdesk came back & they had found they'd entered the MAC incorrectly when I first gave it to them.... they'd typed it in the wrong case.

So, back to square one with the ordering process, this time making certain they'd keyed everything correctly...

I await their next error....
