Hi,
Sky's been giving me some major problems (been 3 weeks and found out my order was cancelled - and they didn't even tell me until I started chasing them up). Now whenever I call them their system is down. Anyway, that's not the point
I was just wondering if Sky had on 020 number, so that calls from my mobile aren't charged extra (since 0800 numbers are charged)?

0800 will not be charged any more than 020 on mobiles. If it says they will be charged 'at standard rate' it will refer to your geographic standard rate, ie inclusive minutes.

Really? I'm sure they're not included in my standard minutes.
@yascpa, have you tried here for a geographic number?

What network are you on? I've never ever heard of people who have inclusive geographic minutes being charged for 0800 calls.

Three are one such network. (they charge 15p/min for 0800) - IIRC Orange are doing it too.

Yep, I'm with Orange - they charge 10p/min for 0800.

Vodafone also charge for 0800 calls.
In fact, i'm pretty sure they all do.

Even when you've got inclusive minutes? I always assumed they just took it out of the minutes. Obviously if you've used all the minutes they'll charge, but I never knew they did that too.

Even with inclusive minutes

They tend not to come off inclusive minutes - I'm with Vodafone and T-Mobile. Both charge for 0800 numbers.
