Skys' e-mail servers were down on 16-11-2006 along with lots of other providers and there have been various other problems at other times with Sky e-mail..

My Sky e-mail is working fine today and most of the time but some others are not.

There are lots of other postings on this subject if you look.

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/11/16/blighty_hit_by_internet_brownout

Gives the info about the internet failing in the UK on the 16th for many customers and this would affect Sky and email.

Don't blame Sky for everything ;-)

That happened on a monday night and very few people noticed. Those that were effected were none the wiser after about 6-8 hours (ie it was sorted the same night)

tbh the report about the robbery is not actually what happened and a lot of the facts on there are wrong, but thats what makes it sound a lot worse than it was.
