What do the Engineers have to do???

Moving away from Bulldog as their phone service is appalling.

Due to be activated on Sky Max package by the 20/12, hoping it may be some time today.

What do the engineers have to do to get you online?, do they have to physically go to the exchange?

Is there anyway of confirming the exact go live date with Sky?
