Sky router sucks doggy doodoo

Arrghhhh

Been having problems with the connection from my PDA.
It was very slow.

Swapped back again to my old netgear and have a solid connection again...

Would upgrading the FW help do you think?

What issues is it that your having exactly, is it just slow speed or dropping connections as well?

i had problems with PDA using WPA encryption. Swapping over to no encryption meant i didn't lose any connection. I know it wasn't the PDA as using the old speedtouch 580 and WPA worked fine.

I had similar connection issues with my laptop... i came to the conclusion that the sky netgear router was pants so i hooked up my old 11mbs linksys and it was rock solid although the downstream sync speed was pretty low @ 5.5 Mb.

I bought me a nice shiney new linksys WAG54GS (ADLS2+) last week and its performed flawlessly with sync speeds of 7 - 8Mb ... netgear truly is doo doo

Just very slow accessing the network over wifi, old DG834G router works fine.
