I assume Sky's DSLAM have this turned off as their support know nothing about it.

Surely if it worked it would be enabled by default.

My SNR has jumped to 9.1db at the moment, was 7.3 last night.

With SRA I could probably squeeze another 1mbit out of the connection.

Will be interested to see your results, not sure I want to try, but I might.

I started an SRA specific thread, with a quick overview of SNR and SRA.

Maybe we can get some feedback there.

I remember the debate, I was on the 8mbps service at the time.

I understand why you disagree, and I wonder if flexibility will become a hallmark of the smaller ISP. (As we know Sky have over 400,000 and Bully approx only 80,000 customers, Bully could become more popular if they were good at support/flexibility, IMHO).

No, hence why BT Wholesale has its DLM system, which some like and some dislike

Provider support is generally not aware of everyone option the technology offers, just like car sales people will not be able to rebuild your car engine
