Finally connected! Now to get my speed up...

[link to this post]

Someone from tier 3 called my husband back and said something about noise levels not being equal and something getting stored in the router blah blah, anyway, hasn't dropped the connection since so seems to be working.

The only issue is the download speed - we are on Max. Any ideas how to improve it or do I need to speak to good ol' tier 3 again?

[deleted] ok, I checked your other other post, with your stats in. No problems there.

I wouldn't bother with the speedtest on this site, it's only useful for comparative purposes.

What, like excessive line length or lots of noise, you mean?

So where's a good place to test my speed? It definitely doesn't feel even close to 8MB.

Thanks

Hang on, you said "something getting stored in the router blah blah, anyway, hasn't dropped the connection since so seems to be working". Does this mean your router stats have changed now? What's your router reporting your sync speeds as?
