SKY MAX In my Area :: Sky Broadband

Hi,

I'm currently with Pipex 2mb service paying �23.99 a month and i've just found out that SKY's LLU services have been installed at my exchange.

So SKY's 16mb (upto) broadband with no limits for just �10 a month is very very tempting.

Now when I check most sites say my LINE should be able to recieve 7mb broadband. But because I would be connected to SKY's LLU would this still be the case, because theres no point in getting 16mb broadband if I can only get 7mb.

Here are my stats from my router:

Noise Margin Up - 29db
Noise Margin Down - 27db
Attenuation Up - 28db
Attenuation Down - 43db
Output Power Down - 12db
Output Power Up - 17db

At the moment i've got a rock solid (touch wood) 2mb connection and I always get MAX speeds when downloading, even in the evenings.

By the way, what is SKY Broadband like, would you recommend them.
