Leaving Eclipse need some advice please.

Hi all,

Eclipse is going the same way as my previous ISP Pipex.

Just wanted to know what is sky like for gaming. I play a lot of online shooters so is sky cool?

Will also be doing some downloading and from what I hear Sky has no problem when it comes to throttling etc.

Got my MAC from Eclipse but just wanting to know who to go to.

When you get connected your ping may be poor, but you can ring Sky and get them to improve it by reducing your max delay.

Ive just odered my sky bb im on bt (ewww) but get 22ms in CSS - im hoping to god the �5 sky with max delay set to 8 dont fcuk me ping go for it if you dont like it in a few days i think u have 8 days to cancel (but please check this im not 100% sure).

Ill let you know how i get on, ordered last night 10-15 days to go

ps. ordered over the phone the sales guy knew his stuff and was very helpful.

I CANNOT wait to ditch the pathetic Supanet for Sky MAX. Too bad i'm in contract until April.
