If Sky offered the same services as BT, I would change to Sky Talk, but they don't - I have my company fax machine running on my home line with the Distinctive Ring service and its own phone number. Sky don't offer this, so I can't change.
So, in March I will be migrating to Be* unless they relent on the price in the meantime. In a poll on the Sky User website, 66% have voted that they will change ISPs when the increases come in.
5 a month is nothing but so many people these days are so fixed on money I can see it been a bother.
This is more about reducing sky talk churn than increasing sky bb turnover tho. Sky talk is performing poorly and I expect sky had a fair few cancellations after 1280 stopped working,
thing is O2 do 16 meg for 10 if your an o2 mobile customer which i am so i will be moving the minute i get the letter.
I will also be cancelling my sky tv basic package as no one really watches it and i have been wanting an excuse to cancel it ( laziness ) so now i have a good reason to.
Sweet, i've been on the 5/month Connect deal now for nearly 2 years lol.
I actually work for Sky, and our checker in work says my exchange is intended to be upgraded in the next year, but i think it's said that for a while lol
