Is 'Connect' Option Any Good?

[link to this post]

I know it has been asked before but I am seriously thinking of Sky as an ISP and my exchange will not be LLU'd for several (many) months and my only option is 'Connect'.

Should I take the option or not?

Are there any basic problems with 'Connect' ?

Is there any throttling?

Is the connection steady?

Your help would be appreciated.

I've been on Connect for almost a year and had no problems whatsoever. I think the download limit is 40GB, but I'm fairly sure I've gone over that once or twice and not heard anything. Connection speed is comparable to Zen who I was with previously, and there's not been any throttling that I've noticed.

My only problem is that new customers can get the price discounted to 10 it seems, whereas I'm stuck at 17.

Thanks for the info. If you say that the connection speed is comparable to Zen then that is good enough for me.

The download limit is 40Gb which would be more than ample for me.

I do agree with you that it does annoy you when new customers can get the same for 10 as opposed to 17.

Thanks again.
