It costs a total of �58 per month, but I got the call package free for 6 months (saving �30), because the half-price rental offer came out just as I was signing up, and when I asked about it they offered me the free calls instead

I have sky talk and i get free calls to italy. On the weekends the with makes the most of that.

You can save a lot if you ring abroad regularly.
I just got sick of the BT bills that seemed to go up every quarter, even though I didn't use them for calls.
I like just having one monthly direct debit for everything.

if you take the sky talk 5 quid package. cant remember what its called you get free calls to italy and i think thats anytime of the day as well

I've got Sky TV - �22 per month, Sky BB Mid - currently �5 per month. I'm not going for Sky Talk, as I want to retain some flexibility to move. My exchange has O2 LLU and that might be better for me once my 12 months Sky BB contract expires. I don't want to be tied in to a Sky phoneline

You only have to give 30 days notice to end the line rental contract, which is one of the reasons I decided to switch.
