Broadband activation how long will it take?

Regarding the issue above , my Bt Option 3 connection is due to be shut down as from tomorrow. The contract has already been finished . Currently there is a tag/marker for some reason on the connection/exchange and its due to be removed tomorrow. However i'll have no MAC but i do have a bt line.

How long will it take for sky to activate Sky Talk + Sky Max Broadband on my bt line that has no mac code?.

As i have two autistic children that need the internet , im concerned that it will take upto 28days!

From the order being placed and accepted it usually takes about 1-2 weeks to connect broadband. Sky will have to post you a router anyway (as the username and password are embedded in the router) which will likely take the most part of a week.

They were pretty quick with me...took about 4 days for the router to arrive and 10 days in total for the switch over of my broadband service. Sky Talk took about 3 weeks but there was no - down time with either my phone or broadband.

Mine was a migration and it took 10 days.

Sky Broadband is available in your area, but it seems your phone line may have a service on it thats not compatible with broadband.

Yesterday it said i was on another service provider you can have upto 16mb max you need a mac number but today after the tag via was removed , it says the above!

IM GETTING REALLY P**SED OFF

I'm still using bt broadband right now even though the tag was removed and both contracts were closed/ended in May and nobody told me!.

Ring BT and ask to be transfered to senior management. That's the only way you are going to get anything remotely useful done.
