My line actuuation is 25dB and i get around 19meg on the default 7dB margin, pings aren't the best, i get around 5ms more than i got with fast path on previous ISP. Speeds are always fine

Gaming is fine, never had any issues, p2p also unthrottled and always full speeds, Should be no problems with 150GB a month, reports of users near 1TB a month and no problems.

Yeap you can tweak it lower yourself if your router supports it, just make sure you ring up and get the Gaming Profile enabled (this turns DLM sync lock off)

Worth noting that the Sky T&C do not allow the use of your own router, and the latest firmware on the latest router does not have a method to extract the ADSL user/pass.

Why? Are you inside a minimum term with Vivaciti?

Who do you pay your telephone line rental to? If it's BT or a BT Wholesale provider (e.g. Post Office) then there is no charge to migrate to Sky.

Note you are migrating, not ceasing.

In that case you might consider moving your line rental to BT (£30) on their "Line Connection Charge for £30.00 Deal". Once switched, you can sign up to Sky (broadband only). After 18 months on BT you could move line rental too, if you choose, although I'd personally stick with BT.

Unless I'm missing something, I'm not sure why Vivaciti would charge you to leave their landline service, seems unfair.

If you have your telephone line rental on LLU, then MAC codes for broadband are not applicable. MAC codes are only applicable for BT lines. As for the charges, I know that BT have a £30 deal for connection, any other charges are down to Vivaciti's own policies.

I was on BT hardware for phone and broadband, I switched my phone to their Sky Talk in October (but stayed on BT hardware), then a couple of weeks ago, I signed up for Sky broadband on the LLU. At no point was I charged any fee to be moved onto their hardware?

I do have Sky TV, I don't know if that is the difference.

The cease charge is on Vivaciti price list @£53.99
(Surfwise Complete Cease £44.99 £9.00 £53.99)
Vivaciti Price List

Why do you have to pay Sky £100 for new connection?
On their website it states "The usual cost for this is £39 but until 24 March you can get a new line for just £10. "
Probably the person you spoke to didn't know thisand you have to tell them its stated on their website(happens with Sky fairly often)

Vivaciti Surfwise complete is run on the TT connection i believe so should be recognised as a TT line and there shouldn't be a problem moving to Sky.

Do note however if you do take the Sky line rental, calls and Broadband it will be full LLU again and if you decide to change ISP in the future you would be in the same position as now having to return your line to BT Wholesale.

Hi,
If you are on full LLU (as it seems you may be from your post) then there is no MAC process at all I am afraid.
