BQM and Sky Fibre

[link to this post]

Hi All,

My BQM is constantly showing as red - 100% drops - even though respond to ping is set to on.

Any ideas?

Regards

Dynamic IP and after a resync or new session started?

p.s. My connection is 'iffy' and drops every 7 to 10 days so I have to get my new WAN IP and edit my BQM. Only takes a minute if that's the problem.

plusnet FTTC - BQM

Yup,

Looks like it was to do with a reset after a complete network reboot.

Sign up with a dynamic DNS service such as no-ip.com which is supported by Sky's hub.

Just need to set up your no-ip.com details in the Advanced -> Dynamic DNS tab of the hub and use the no-ip.com URL in BQM. After that any IPv4 address changes are automatically handled.
