Alternatives to Sky Booster 2

[link to this post]

I just upgraded to FTTC and the speeds downstairs and via ethernet seem to be pretty good (70Mbps etc) apart from a two hour slowdown tonight, but the speeds upstairs are not much better than ADSL2+ at 24Mbps which is pretty disappointing.

I've got the router in the main room downstairs, a booster in the middle of the house downstairs near the ceiling on a cabinet to serve the upstairs bedrooms which has always served well. But clearly it is not providing good enough coverage to cope with the new speeds.

I say the booster is not good enough, because even if I stand right next to it, I only get 41Mbps, and If I turn the booster off, the speed goes up to about 65Mbps,so you know, terrible job it is doing, but still has to be kept in the circuit for upstairs to get any kind of signal.

I have this booster, which is pretty old:

Can anyone recommend a better booster that will improve the speeds?
