Hello,
Placed an order on Tuesday (morning) for a migration to Sky Broadband (Connect). However the BT Order Tracking section of it's website, has no record of any ADSL orders placed on the line (as of this evening).
Should I contact Sky or is this perfectly normal that Sky are a bit slow at getting things moving?
Thanks in advance.

if your going onto the connect package it will not show up on the BT order tracker i believe

Wrong.
ANY order will show on the BT tracker (as long as you are using it properly, the Track Landline orders under Small business section on the BT website, not just BT broadband orders).
This includes LLU and IPStream since the order tracking is for the landline and anything that happens with it.
Lately when changing ISPs I had 2 ceases and 2 provisions, one each on both LLU and IPStream, and they all showed there immediately.
If you have nothing on the tracker Sky have not made the order with BT. As simple as that. And don't expect BT to do any work of course.
Cheers.

I suspected that the BT Order Tracker should work, however spoke to Sky and they claim that their system is saying 'Order being Provisioned'. Alas BT has no record on their 'Track Landline status' option.
I know that DarkoD is right, so a bit confused. Best thing to do, is sit and wait for the estimated activation date letter to turn up.

Good luck. You seem to be in a situation where Sky doesn't want to admit even the possibility of an error on their end and investigate further.
One thing is for sure, letter or not letter, BT is not getting you connected until an order shows up against your landline.
Cheers.

Sorry, I missed the part that it's a migration.

Well my bro just ordered sky broadband on friday evening yesterday, he's migrating from nildram onto Sky Max LLU. I just signed up on the BT order tracker, and there are two entries for the phone line, one is a 'ipstream max cease' and the other is a provide for 'LLU line share PSTN'. So you should have something like this if the order went through ok.
Hope that helps.

Sky Broadband phoned yesterday evening, whilst I was out and left a message to say that my line was going to be migrated/activated on Thursday of this week (never asked them to phone). Still saves money on a stamp, I guess.
So the BT Order Tracking website doesn't display an order, when it's a MAXDSL migration - it would appear. If it does, then some simply don't appear on the website.
All I have to do now, is figure out if my router will turn up. If it doesn't can I use my existing router?
