Not Happy With SKY :(

Well my downloads are 360kb jumping to 40kb then on to 10kb and 0kb and freezing up contacted Sky they said there is a problem somewhere we'll pass it on to Bt, but im so sick of this now, cuz even Limewire only downloads at 1kb and highest is 5kb for me and goes to 0kb...

Also the Router I know we all use the SSID etc on Sky, but I wish I could just use my other router cuz I can't even access my MIRC room

I don't think its right to not give the Sky Customer there own USERNAME & PASSWORD to be able to use it on other Routers...

I feel like cancelling SKY TV & BROADBAND altogether its a CON

I think Sky is False Advertising & Customer Service is fantastic @ registrations & Setting up, but when it comes to Trouble, its Diabolical

your possibly on the shaped package then mate

Before we all get too involved - ring them and ask to raise a tier 3 ticket [I think that's what it's called] and that will get things checked out; granted Sky support is not to hot but it can only get better

Phoned Sky again and they said i have to wait 48 hrs to let BT Check my line for errors, wait for the report back, but she did say I am in my rights to cancel as my 8 days are not up yet... so thats good to know...

What shaped package? I didnt realise Sky did shaped packages.... I am thinking of joining the Connect package... is there anything I need to know?!

According to these boards and other sites Connect is shaped and throttled - apparently the other packages are not; if Connect is your only option I would think again...
