I don't have freeview i don't exist as far as Sky is concerned they could not find me at this address on their system and i have been here for donkeys years.
I have nothing to cancel.

To a certain extent yes the problem is when the engineer turns up he is going to find the dish and cable already there,if he reports this to sky could it cause me problems.
I have lived in the house longer than i have had the sky box so saying it was there when i moved in wont cut it.

If you sign up for Sky and you've never had subisidsed hardware before you can get a free* Digibox and Mini Dish, however as you already have a dish there would be no need to swap that(the TandCs state they will use working equipment and replace anythign that isnt), unless of course you pay for Sky + or HD where they'd need to change the LNB for a multi one.




*12 month contract etc

I would still hide the old box LOL and don't forget if they use the old stuff make sure its not marked down as customer installed as it wont be covered under the 12 month warranty doubt they would but you never know.
