Not everyone complains though, theres 3 people in this house who depend on the net for Uni/Work - Its beyond a joke really.
Good luck let us know how you get on.
The more i read here and over at skyuser the more I'm thinking of staying with IDNet who have always provided a great service and have probably the best customer service out there.
I may just signing up for Sky TV.
I wouldn't have minded this if i was told when signing up - the gentleman said "The switch over happens within 30min-3hrs and you just plug your sky router in and away you go. Never mentioned the week waiitng on the router to arrive.

My router arrived a month ago, a couple of days after placing the order, but I am still waiting word for the letter that tells me when I can expect to go live.
When I call Sky they tell me there is a 'delay' and that it has been escalated to Order management

Being new to routers I decided to opt for engineer install and tried to get the install date to tie in with my migration date.
Booked March 31st for install but Sky have already processed the MAC code ( go live 21st March)
Emailed them to suggest they send the router...I'll try the setup process and if I succeed I'll cancel the engineer.....if I fail the engineer could then set it up on the 31st.
This was not acceptable!
So I'll be down for 10 days due to poor customer care.
Not a good start.
