Sky Email .. forwarding possible?

just a quick question (and I am probably 98% sure of the answer already..nope ;0( ) but can you forward your Sky emails to another address?

I never use a ISP email and want to forward my Sky email to my Gmail address..just like I had set up when I was with Madasafish - can't find any options within the online email client.. am I wasting my time?? .. I take it from what I can see they don't do forwarding??

I can access my email via pop using my Outlook 2003 no problems (using mail.sky.com rather than smtp.sky.com in the outgoing server! .. it works! lol) but as I don't really use Outllook and just have all my emails coming into Gmail, is forwarding offered??

Mind you the online email cleint is very BASIC! no options or anything!!

There's no native method to do this. The only possible way of doing so would be to create a message rule in outlook to resend to your other address - but i guess this would defeat the purpose of not having to access your Sky mail!

Ahh well, as I will never be using it, I doubt I will get many emails to it.. so it will just have to be via an Outlook option.. but hey, better than nothing..

Just a suggestion but why don't you remove your sky email account and go on skybroadband.com when you want to check if there are any messages, say once a month?

I'm not sure from your desciption of you are aware, however gmail allows you to collect mail from other POP accounts, see the link below. Its not exactly forwarding but saves you using outlook or whatever.

Cheers Chris, actually I have got Gmail set up with emails to "send from" but I didn't realise that Gmail did this... so thank you VERY much!!
