Sky very slow?

Hello All,

I have just changed from Zen to Sky mid package, the download speed with Sky seems very slow. Dont know much about Broadband, speeds etc but just ran test on this site and result says
speed Down 207.93kbps
speed up 42.52kbps

I am using wireless connection from the Sky router to my Acer.
Any advice please.

Thanks for reply, only problem i looked at the link and it is all double dutch, no idea what to do with the program.
Is the speed I am getting too slow?

yeah i get Speed Down 11363.97 Kbps ( 11.1 Mbps )
Speed Up 503.77 Kbps ( 0.5 Mbps )

Thanks to Technode i went onto www.speedguide.net and downloaded TCP Optimizer.

I went onto General settings;
Chose Max download speed as 8000
Checked box "modify all network adaptors"
Chose "Optimal settings"
Apply and reboot.

Ran test again and got result:
Speed Down: 6678.51kbps
Speed up: 313kbps

I presume this is more like the speed I should get. Definately a lot better!

Looks a lot better

After using TCP Optimizer my speed went up to 6678.51. Over the last few days it has been getting slower again, now down to 1799.30. Any sugestions or advice?
