Snr

[link to this post]

Since Sky upgraded the firmware on my old sky netgear 834gt it is no longer able to have the snr preset by the script downloaded from a link off skyuser ( I am sure you remember the one).

So the question is how to do it ? is there a new script anywhere if so any links?
Or can anyone recomend a router that you do it without much effort if so which?

I know all the arguments about preset snr margins the question is how not why.

Thanks In advance peeps

Both the Speedtouch 585v6 and the Netgear DG834Gv4 have broadcom chipsets and can have the target SNR margin tweaked by the 'DMT' tool. I'm sure there are probably instructions if you search in the DSL hardware forum on this site.

Of course I'm sure you know it's against the T&C's not to use Sky's supplied router so I won't even mention it....
