I believe I was put on ADSL2+ ?

The Sky supplied Netgeat 934G.

What are your speeds on this sites speedtester, especially from speedtest2?.

As of today - Sep 19 - a big improvement on Sep 16 up from 5.1Mbps to 6.7Mbps
Also today;
Speednet reports 7.2Mbps
Speedtest2 - 6.9Mbps
Broadband Expert - 7.1Mbps
Namesco Broadband Max - 7Mbps
All tests above completed within a 20 minute period.
So something has changed as the Thinkbroadband test is within 5% of the others now.

Upload speeds more or less consistent across the board at 620-630Kbps

Fine here on SKY MID Wed 19th

Though I'll be dropping the mid package soon as SKY have indicated they're upping the price by �5 a month if you don't take skytalk!

Did a speed test 5 minutes ago:

BBMAx = 5878 kbps

Speedtest1 = 4521 kbps

How do I access speedtest2?

Yep almost.

Should have been 12.9Mb/s not Kb/s which is circa 13,210Kb/s as there are 1024 bits in a Mbyte. And if McDonalds ever do broadband that will be 25,800 nibbles as there are two nibbles in a byte and they only do nibbles and bytes. Shame their burgers do not do fibre though, will hold back throughput unless you eat a dodgy one. Backhauling one of them won't be nice.

In summary, the speedtest works perfectly.

It's just the luck of the draw. If you do a few tests after each other you may get ST2.

It seems to be a factor that all my slow speedtests are from Speedtest 2. Just done four tests in succession. Two on speedtest1 were over 11500kbps, two on speedtest2 3849.08 Kbps and 4732.99 Kbps.
