Bad Stuttering,lag.

Hi,
Im concerned with my sky adsl which is now constanly lagging me out of games and ventrillo.
Ive done a traceroute and it says:

Am i being sent to the usa and back? it shows 30 hops.

I play on one particular server and I am getting major lag too, but it doesn't matter if I am at work on PlusNet or at home on Sky Max. Have you tried different servers to see if there is an improvement?

Are you by any chance on Mid? I used to play games on Max without any problems but stopped playing so downgraded to Mid. Now ive started playing warhammer online and notice poor performance, very laggy randomly, going to upgrade back to Max tomorrow see if it cures it as i understand Mid is using bts network(wich is known to be a bottleneck?) and Max is llu.

I thought they were all LLU, apart from "Connect", which is a BT wholesale product used on the exchanges Sky can't be bothered to enable?

That's right. Mid and Max are both LLU services, but Mid has certain usage limits. Connect is the re-badged BT product.

I stand corrected. Looks better today atm. Will try it again at 6-7pm see if its sorted out.
