Sky 8Mb [40Gb Cap]

[link to this post]

Just looked on the sky website and it seems the only package that is truly unlimited is the 16Mb one, well i cant get 16Mb cause of the distance i live away from the exchange so would only go for the 8Mb package, is this unlimited or does it have the 40Gb cap it says on the website, as i'm with UK Online right now on 8Mb on their LLU network and have no caps?.

Sky max is called max because it's unimited. It's up to 16Mb. Being on max doesn't guarantee 16Mb, it guarantees unlimited.

That's true, but the 8M package with a 40GB cap that he's talking about is called Sky Mid. They don't rigidly enforce this cap, but you should always be aware that they could in the future.

The title implies Sky Mid, but he's asking about unlimited which is Sky Max.
Sky Max can be delivered over ADSL1 up to 8Mb if your line can't handle ADSL2+ but it's still Sky Max.
