Sky deliberately blocking rapidshare?

[link to this post]

Seems to me that Sky have decided to limit access to download sites. I've used 2 different internet connections and they are fine, Sky just won't connect.

It seems to be intermittent, maybe it's time for me to move ISPs.

This intermittent filtering/blocking of rs has been an issue for years now, with the easynet, network(both sky & ukonline use it) it is something to do with a proxy they use, it simply doesn't work properly, and has also something to do with the rapidshare set up as well, see the ukonline sub forum for full details
try putting an 'S' after the Http= https:// and to log in your rs premium account if you have, if not just do the same with the links, or you could try this rs link converter or use a free vpn service
complain to easynet if sky won't listen, they hopefully will get sick of people complaining and fix the dam thing

Thanks for the info, I'll definitely give it a go. How do I setup a proxy?
