HI All, rather than start a new thread, I'd thought I'd add to this one, I'm also a new subscriber and my line is settling in.
My stats started at:
2083/605
64/41db
7.4/12.5
As of Today:
1817/777
64/41db
7.5/7.2
The Sky My Account Page says there is no line testing, but I'm day 3 new...
Assume it is testing since the uplink went from 12.5 down to 7.2 and it did it around 0200 last night.
My big question is this, I installed an iPlate and also a dedicated commtel dsl/phone filter plate to get the maximum out of my connection. Whilst I'm in the 10 day bedding-in period, can I move the box around, particularly attaching to the Master Socket to check my line stats without screwing up the BT tests? I want to be certain my in-honme wiring isn't a problem for the high 64db downlink attenuation and would move the modem to the master plate if it yielded big results, of course my so will complain but if I can show her a big improvement I can get it done.
So basically, will making a couple moves and tests screw things up? Is there a safe way to disconnect without having the BT tests think my line is unstable?
Thanks!
