Re: Nightmare with Sky

Well the Agents you have had contact with are right and wrong to be honest

There is no gaming profile for the exchange equipment you are on which is a Sky/Easynet dslam cr3.ndtwe.uk.easynet.net

What thats means is that as opposed to the full LLU equipment which has preset profiles, A CST agent would be able to manually configure & tweak the line, might be worth getting a new case raised with them and seeing what they can do

1, what you have been told is incorrect , unless they have recently moved their goal posts, (very recently)!!! the Easynet dslam @ your exchange NDTWE
Can be configured to use SRA and Fastpath and if you where to use a router with a conexant chipset you may see faster sync speeds,
basically sky in their infinite wisdom, AKA (company policy) do not make use of these settings instead they will use DLM & a 1st tier support that is very lacking ect That's one of the pitfalls of a mass market one size fits all isp, and they seriously think that you would go full llu???? they giving you some bs mate,
have a look at which other isp's are available to you there is also fttc in some areas served by your exchange i would be giving that some thought, & maybe getting a MAC code
