Try it thro' Start -> Run and type "cmd" in its box. Then type IPCONFIG at the command prompt (it's simpler). Read off the "Default Gateway".

Another reason why I want to get into the router web stats page is I'm not sure if the hardware firewall is enabled, I do have a Kaspersky (software) firewall but would also like to run a hardware firewall as well for extra security.

I have tried:

Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0

but neither of them work

My router address is 192.168.0.1

Not a good idea, keep the firewall on the router turned off... More trouble than it's worth and it doesn't provide the kind of protection you're probably thinking of.

Thanks that worked but I had to select the option 'Copy link location' as if I try the link directly I get a banner at the top of my browser !

Oh right, I was running the hardware firewall on my old Netgear router (when I was with O2) and I didn't have any problems.

Perhaps the Sky router firewall is more trouble ?

They're all trouble unless you use a quality router/device, they generally slow things down a bit because the CPU cannot cope inspecting the traffic. It often only does trivial things like blocks pings and certain packets - it is not really going to prevent people "hacking in" to your PC and stealing card details etc.

My personal opinion..

As long as your PC is patched and protected you'll be fine.
