What could be causing it? It only started yesterday, before that I got a consistent 24mbps throughput at all times.

It is worth noting that the official BT wholesale speed checker reports a consistent 22mbps. This one.

My downloads earlier were going at 400 kb/s on a 80 mbps sync.

Interesting. Hopefully things will be ok by the morning.

I hope it will be resolved too but it was doing it last night, then today it was ok until about 4pm when things started to slow down again.

Ignore me. My issues are totally wifi related. Via ethernet it's 9.3 mb/s

New neighbours have a wifi network that covers 2 channels and it's really screwed my wifi up.
