I think that's the one. Have you fitted a BT Broadband Accelerator? It looks like there is one. If you have, I'd take it out and remove the ring wire instead. See 'Removing the Ring Wire' here.

So when you get Sky Fibre then all you need to do is connect the filter into that socket and coming out of that, the router and telephone.

Hi thanks I forgot I did buy a i-plate from broadbandbuyer in 2009

I had a better look tonight and the cable from flagpole comes down front of house into side of the house and into the meter box. I then think a extension runs up a door frame which is mostly hidden into spare bedroom above in a flush telephone socket. Sorry cable was hard to see has some of it is hidden behind a trellis running up the wall

I will have to get rid of the extension at some point the master socket in meter cupboard has no power near by without rigging up an extension which would be awkward due to having to them run along hallway. I couldnt use that as my daughter would slip as she is a little fragile on here feet and disabled. If I had a spark in all the floors are laminate. I think it would be easier to get the master socket moved to back of house

Thanks guys for all the help

Can I move from one LLU provider to another. I am thinking of getting 78Mbps fibre with sky. I am paying line rental to BT but use CPS Primus for calls and Aquiss adsl 2 (LLU) I got a mac code from Aquiss

Ring sky up. They will be able to get it done.

A worst case scenario is a £10 charge for a new line but they can discount heavily.

Better to do on the phone than online as things go wrong online. The online computer automatically makes assumptions that can be wrong.

... and you won't be able to use Primus anymore because Sky don't support CPS on their lines.
