I don't mention the annual payment option for Sky, because they don't seem to advertise it

if you want broadband only, then its services like Virgin Media cable

VM will charge you a different price if you don't take their phone line.

e.g. 30meg VM Broadband without phone is £22.50/month (first 3 months at £17.50)

but if you take a phone line (£14.99/month), the broadband price is only £14/month, a saving of £8.50 - so really the price of the phone line is £6.49/month.

James BT Infinity 2 19/09/2012 - Speeds ~46 / ~8.5 Mbps - Sync 48.9 / 10 Mbps @ 470m
Huawei modem -> Draytek 2820 -> Airport Extreme -> Switch -> Windows/Mac/Linux/NAS/Phone/TV

My BT bill is on average about £25/quarter, so not sure if Sky would be cheaper.. on the other hand, my broaband is going over my allowance of 30GB/mth due to my catchup usage.. I really don't know which way to jump.

Forgot to mention, my broadband cost is £19+/month

How so? That must be the BT Phone bill alone. BT's standard line rental is £15.45 / month = £46.35 / quarter > your phone bill. Did you pay £129 Line Rental Saver in advance?

Otherwise your figures don't make sense frown .

i would assume £25 is for both (its on the same bill)
Impossible! BB @ £19 / month x 3 = £57 /quarter is far > than BT bill of £25 / quarter. Anyway OP never said BB was with BT.

EDIT: A little research shows OP is with EntaNet.

OP's figures still don't make sense.
