Our exchange currently has 2x 155mbps for sky so no I don't think so - and these pipes are unlimited to the web so again not going to upset sky.

Where'd you get that from? 155Mb isn't available as an LLU backhaul, it's n x 100, 1000 or 10000Mb and there shouldn't be anything on less than 1000Mb on Sky's network now.

The Oftel "Local loop unbundling: backhaul services" consultation document back in 2001 recommended using 155 Mbps and above leased lines for LLU backhauls as it was more cost effective.

Sky are still upgrading their backhauls so I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't still a few exchanges still using 155Mbps lines.

Funny things seem to be happening at Sky. My Sky unlimited broadband was capped at 13meg when I first joined over three years ago. I was happy as my line was stable.

In seems the cap has been removed a week or so ago. I'm currently syncing at 17meg at the moment but the line quality doesn't look good, looking at my BQM. Nothing in 'My Sky' to indicate DLM is running either.

I can't run a BQM as I have a dynamic IP
So have I but I have a BQM running. If my IP changes just delete the running BQM and create a new one.

Yes, I do the same. My IP address seems a bit more sticky of late though.

I never know that! I thought it wouldn't let you.

I've just started one. I gave me a warning but still let me. I'm sure it used to prevent me running it with a dynamic IP. Has it changed?

I've always had dynamic IPs and never had a warning when setting up a TBB BQM.

I wish they'd add hostname support though.

Oliver.
