Re: New to Sky Fibre ?

[re: Deadbeat] [link to this post]

the problem sky have is they dont have the saturday 3pm games, so joe bloggs searches for a way to watch a nbc stream, then they discover these streams also work for sky's live games so evaluate why they paying for sky.

So for that either sky need to start getting the sat 3pm games or the EPL need to stop selling worldwide rights to those games, but regardless this is off topic.

It's not a matter of Sky (or BT Sport or whoever) "getting" the 3pm games.

The FA, Premier League and Football League don't want live football shown between 2:45 and 5:15 on a Saturday (in the UK) as, based on some outdated and unproven 1960's thinking, they believe it will affect attendance at matches.

Until those bodies change their thinking and allow the broadcasters to show matches in that time period, there is nothing Sky or anyone else can do about it.

Then us Joe bloggs find we need pay nothing to watch absolutely everything, which is more than those that pay can watch. I am one of those that consider all online free for the taking, and doing so is committing no crime. Sorry for being Off Topic, but I think Sky's days via satellite are well and truly numbered and may be off topic altogether in a few years.

Finally - do all customers get the Q hub or just people subscribing to sky Q TV?

Just people taking Sky Q at the moment I think.

I ordered the 40/10 Sky 'Fibre' Unlimited the other week due to it being on an offer and got sent an SR102
