Yes my issue was every few months, this seems different.

Try the sky hub for a few days, see if it reoccurs, if not then try using your router as an AP and see if the issue reoccurs.

It might be your router on its way out.

I had it go down last night around 10:30pm, multiple reboots wouldn't fix it, the SNR ratio was OK but it was getting a lot of crc errors. It was also trying to connect me at 5024 instead of 4024 every time too. It bounces around 4.0 and 5.7 often, I was stable at 5mbps for years at one time. So I thought I would try G.DMT instead of ADSL2+ because it connects at a slower speed usually. it connected at 4700 and worked, upload was a bit higher too. It didn't disconnect last night around 2am either, will have to see how long the connection lasts now.
