I should avoid that awful, new Windows 10 too if I were you - there's nothing wrong with dear, old XP.

Apart from no Microsoft security patches for critical level vulnerabilities which may be used to compromise your machine.

Plenty of discussion on sky user forums on this, it appears WPS must be active yes. I am sure it is something to do with the unique way this airties setup works.

Yes something is going on. When I can get 2hrs in the house without kids accessing the internet/tv will give it another go as I also have powerline available, but for sky1 this is not plugged in so using WIFI.... I used power line for the older sky kit.

Having a differing opinion from yourself is regarded as me having a luddite view of skyq ? Hardly.

If its got a bug or security problem then no need to smash it up, a new firmware should fix it.
