If you are not on Sky fibre pro (upto 80mb package) which has a static IP. Can you not just leave your router off for 10mins, that should be long enough to renew your WAN IP and get you a new Sky IP.

Thanks for all the responses. I finally got connected normally again. In the end I had to unplug my router and leave it off for an hour � apparently a factory reset doesn�t necessarily force a new IP address.
Connected immediately with a shiny new IP address. Would love to explain it though.

I use sky myself and i can get on fine, looks like you should be able to fix the problem as all the info given is great. Also if i ever have this problem lets just say i know where to come
