If you are not on Sky fibre pro (upto 80mb package) which has a static IP. Can you not just leave your router off for 10mins, that should be long enough to renew your WAN IP and get you a new Sky IP.

Thanks for all the responses. I finally got connected normally again. In the end I had to unplug my router and leave it off for an hour � apparently a factory reset doesn�t necessarily force a new IP address.

Connected immediately with a shiny new IP address. Would love to explain it though.

if you changed IP and that worked, then for some reason you ip was blocked or the route from you too and from the service on your old IP did not work.

have you blocked it in your browser or firewall by any chance, just reset browsers to default and firewalls to allow all traffic to test

I use sky myself and i can get on fine, looks like you should be able to fix the problem as all the info given is great. Also if i ever have this problem lets just say i know where to come wink
