Sky router FTTP stats

May be old news to most of you, but I noticed tonight that my Sky router now reports download/ upload speeds, something I thought was sorely missing when I upgraded.

Was only added in the latest firmware upgrade that is still being rolled out.

Interesting, just checked mine and 150Mb/s package:
DownStream Connection Speed159900
UpStream Connection Speed30000

Do Openreach allow Sky to query the ONT locally to get those speeds? I can't imagine they'd pull that info centrally and then push it to the router.

I don't know but if I had to guess I would say its not from the ONT, I also think they are fixed values and will not adjust up or down while you're on that speed package.

That’s a good point. Thinking about it actually, the ONT will just have its 2.4Gb PON data rate, so it must be managed from the Sky account.
