Its not wifi, the speed tests and downloads I only test on wired.

I've previously seen your terrible BQM graph and if its using your Sky IPv4 address (not your IPv6) and you disconnect all your devices from the router for say an hour and and then review your BQM and its still extremely bad then its clearly an issue that needs to be fixed by Sky or Openreach. Your issue has been ongoing for far to long now.

I've tried that and will do it again tonight as well as turn the WIFI off for double measures.

OR have done tests and all have been fine except one when they found a fault "TC threshold exceeded", the most recently did an SSFA test and all passed.

Very well could be my setup,

SKY speed tester which is from their network to the router is also well below guarantee but much better than OOKLA, with just me connected and wifi on her phone it was 260, and there were heavy downloads.

I would first focus on getting a good BQM (using IPv4) up to the router, then hopefully good FTTP speed will follow. Keep doing speed tests is only going to disappoint you as you still appear to have an underlying issue that needs resolving.

I have just recommended the same in the BQM forum.

Not normally with BQM, which is normally pinging your router (the sky provided box), nothing you have connected to that box.

SKY speed tester which is from their network to the router is also well below guarantee but much better than OOKLA, with just me connected and wifi on her phone it was 260, and there were heavy downloads.

Your speed tests have problems, but get the BQM right first, before worrying about speed tests.

How did your BQM look after disconnecting all LAN and WLAN devices? are you 100% using IPv4 on your BQM?

It was exactly the same.

I removed all LAN cables, the phone line as well as the LAN cable to my VOIP line at 11PM and only access was via WIFI until 4:30AM, I then disabled the WIFI as well until 8AM and BQM was exactly same, there was no difference

I did it 14/15 March

My Broadband Ping

I tried to link, it showed today, tried again and hopefully above will show the days.

I chatted to SKY via WhatsApp and explained everything to the advisor and he was going to go back to the network team and book another engineer if needed. I am not optimistic on the engineer as they test light reading and run tests and they all pass. The last one I asked them specifically to test / check the splice as one of the forum members suggested that could be the problem. He didn't even visit, ran a test called SSFP remotely and all passed.

This is a good example of what I am seeing, two speed tests same server minute apart and nothing was connected to the network other than WIFI's phone and my work laptop. I read somewhere having a VPN running can affect speed tests and disabled the work one and no difference.

The peculiarity is, uploads are always perfect, I could live with it the other way round smile I thought FTTP was all or nothing so really perplexed that good light readings at -15, its erratic. At least I now know the packet loss is nothing to do with my internal network.

Your screenshot shows the speed test being run is wireless.

People aren't saying to do wired tests for the fun of it. Wireless is just far too variable.
While those kind of differences between the 2 tests are unlikely to be related to WiFi alone, for troubleshooting purposes you really need to run wired speed tests.

It was definitely wired, no idea why it showing wireless, never noticed that before.

Will run a speed tomorrow to check if still showing up wireless. It's usb C dongle, so not sure if that's the cause.
