This is a rough transcript of a typical call to TalkTalk cutomer services.
Phone Rings..followed by an automated answering service..I select the choice for a problem with my bill.
I then sit and listen to 'something in the air' for 45 minutes.
The phone finally rings...
CS: Good morning and welcome to TalkTalk..my name is (unpronoucable) how may I help you today?
I explain that they're still billing me almost two months after I've ceased my use of their service. They ask for my dtails which I duly give.
CS: I can see your account is marked as a problem account sir.
Me: Yes..the problem is it's still open and you are still billing me.
CS: ok..lets see if we can fix that for you sir.
Me: Thank you
CS: When did you close your account sir?
Me: On the 2nd of June
CS: It shows you have a balance of
